To start with, almost everyone in the events industry has started volunteering or working behind the bar. I also did this with a lot of love.
Through friends, I started volunteering for Harmony of Hardcore and 7th Sunday. I was responsible for creating a safe environment on the festival grounds, helping people if necessary and guarding backstage entrances.
Through this work, I noticed for the first time what it is like backstage at a festival and what it is like to work with large groups on the site. It also gave me insight into the importance of every employee at the festival ensuring that visitors feel optimally comfortable. Everyone is responsible for offering visitors the best time of their lives. In addition, these volunteers are often the people who can help visitors and get the most close to them.
I have done volunteering work at festivals such as Harmony of Hardcore and 7th Sunday, Lowlands and DGTL.
