In 2020 I started my education at Breda University of Applied Sciences. Within this education, I follow Leisure & Event Management in English.
In the first year, we discovered basic knowledge about leisure and events. These assignments were aimed at festivals, fairs, pop venues, theatres and amusement parks. From my previous education, I already knew that I had developed a love for the festival industry. That is why I chose to specialize in live music & dance events in the second year. This direction specializes in festivals and pop venues.
Leisure & event management assignment first year
From Concepting, strategy, Marketing & Branding, Production & logistics. Within this course, I covered all the different facets needed to set up an event. We always work together in groups to realize and present an end product to the clients.
In my third year, I did my internship at Mysteryland for a year. I was mainly responsible for creating concepts for the creative areas, which I then developed in 3D, budgeting the concepts, seeking suppliers' contact and ensuring that the design could be produced. At the end of my internship, I focused on the VIP deck of Mysteryland and was assistant project manager.
In my fourth and final year, I took a minor where I could design my project and work on it for six months. You can find more about the project on this page.
I am currently doing my last internship. As a graduation intern, I am delving into optimizing SSIXX's internal business processes. This is a new company that supplies designs and end products to festivals, brands, and private individuals.
