When everything goes pleasingly for the visitors, it means that everything must be nicely organized backstage. Taking care of all the backstage areas is a huge job during the event. The 'stappenteller' is increasing, but it is certainly worth it to give visitors the time of their lives. Being able to solve things on an ad hoc basis, being able to switch quickly and working hard is a must.
I don't mind working long hours and enjoy working at a festival just as much as going there as a visitor. I like to challenge myself and am not easily discouraged.
I have worked at the backstage at festivals such as Poppodium Willem Twee, Amsterdam Open Air, Mysteryland, Vunzige deuntjes festival and van Zuid Events Den Bosch.
